The Business Manager is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day activities for the administrative services area (accounting, billing, budget preparation, state reporting, contract administration, administrative support staff, service operations desk, human resources, project planning and warehouse and central stores operations.) The Business Manager reports directly to and assists the Director of Physical Plant.
The Service Operations Desk Technician (SOD) operates the department telephone switchboard, records and distributes maintenance service calls reported by the campus community and is responsible for reserving university vehicles. The SOD also assists the Business Manager.
The Accounting Technician performs all back charging for university vehicles and is the direct contact for vehicle billing questions. The Accounting Technician also maintains vehicle maintenance records, completes and submits state vehicle reports and acts as administrative support as needed.
